01 / Knowledge, experience, perspective

More than knowledge.
A way of thinking.

For me, teaching means more than passing on knowledge; it is about sharing experience, perspective and ways of thinking. I teach from more than two decades of practical experience, spanning performance and education, arts management, productions, international relations and cultural projects. I believe that a 21st-century artist needs not only exceptional professional skills but also practical knowledge for consciously shaping a career. Alongside artistic talent and creativity, this includes strategic thinking, an entrepreneurial mindset, communication, marketing and financial skills, as well as an understanding of how the music industry works and of artists’ rights.

In my teaching, I aim to break down the artificial boundaries built between art and business. I believe management and business knowledge do not restrict artistic freedom; they are one of its foundations. When artists understand their opportunities, rights and the professional environment in which they work, they can shape their own path more consciously and freely.

02 / Mentoring

Personal attention.
Independent thinking.

As an educator at MOME, Werk Academy, the University of Debrecen, LFZE, UCLA, Hamilton High School, Success Piano Studio, and Yamaha Music School, I have worked with several hundred Hungarian and international students. Rather than traditional, one-way teaching, I believe in mentorship: I like to share the experiences, successes, challenges, and lessons I have gained throughout my own career, while creating space for questions, shared thinking, and independent exploration. Personal attention, encouragement, and a supportive environment are especially important to me—one in which students not only gain knowledge, but also learn how to use it in service of their own goals.

03 / Liszt Academy · MA programme

Art and management.
Speaking the same language.

From September 2026

From September 2026, I teach the course “Arts Management – Artist Management in the World of Classical Music” in the MA programme of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music.

The course builds a bridge between the artistic and business worlds. Its aim is to give students, alongside their creative and performance skills, the entrepreneurial, management, marketing, branding, financial and music-rights knowledge required to build an artistic career consciously.

04 / From education to an independent career

Connect. Understand.
Shape it consciously.

01 / Connection

Institutional connections

During the course, we explore not only how a young artist can build an independent career, but also how they can become involved in the professional programme of an institution, orchestra, festival, production team or cultural organisation. Guest professionals and representatives of cultural organisations use their own work to show what opportunities may open up for an emerging artist, how to establish contact, introduce oneself, formulate an approach, or bring an artistic idea into an institution’s programme.

02 / Experience

Practical knowledge

The programme is practice-oriented and centred on inspiration. I aim to help students not only understand more clearly how the classical music world works, but also recognise where they may belong within it, what value they can create and what they can do to gain professional opportunities.

03 / Independence

Independent thinking

For me, teaching becomes truly valuable when acquired knowledge turns into independent thought and action. My goal is therefore not only to prepare young artists for a career, but to teach them how to shape it consciously.

05 / Workshops and lectures

From experience.
Learning from one another.

I give workshops and lectures built around specific topics for cultural institutions, universities, artistic communities and professional programmes. The format and content are always shaped by the participants, the institution and the particular professional objective.
