I continued my career as an entrepreneur and company director, and in 2006 the opportunity came to fulfil a long-held ambition: to take talented artists with a classical music background under my wing and guide their careers as an impresario. As a musician, I understand and feel the thoughts, joys and difficulties of artists, while I am also at home in the worlds of business and finance. For me, the meeting of these two worlds gives my work its particular passion and meaning.
About · Bíró Csilla
From the world of music.
For the whole person.
I am an impresario, music curator, producer and educator. I have worked in the international world of classical music for nearly four decades.

01 / Beginnings
Music is the foundation.
The person is at the centre.
I am an impresario, music curator, producer, performer and organiser-director. I have worked in the international world of classical music for nearly four decades. I began my career as a pianist, teacher, répétiteur and coach, and gradually became increasingly involved in organising, managing and consciously developing artistic careers.
I pursued my musical studies in Hungary and have always felt fortunate to draw on the extraordinary richness of Hungarian musical culture. In 1989, after graduating from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, I set out into the wider world with this spiritual and professional foundation, performing successfully in concert halls across Europe and the United States.
02 / New horizons
Los Angeles.
A school of independence.
Piano performance, teaching and an entrepreneurial mindset.
After completing my musical studies, I made my home and started a family in Los Angeles. Moving from Europe’s cultural cradle into a very different world taught me what it means to think and act independently, take initiative, build relationships and take responsibility for my own path. Over nearly ten years I remained active in musical life in several roles: I founded and ran my own music school, Success Piano Studio, taught classical piano and taught at Yamaha Music School, while also working as a répétiteur and coach at the UCLA Opera Department and Hamilton High School of Performing Arts & Choir. Whenever the opportunity arose, I also performed as a pianist and supported the careers of young performers. This period truly taught me independent, proactive thinking and an entrepreneurial mindset.
03 / Biro Music Management
Where two worlds meet.
Artistic sensitivity.
Conscious career building.
In 2007 I founded Starlet Music Management in Budapest, which has operated as Biro Music Management since 2012. My agency embodies a long-standing professional dream: not simply to represent exceptional artistic talent, but to help each artist find the path on which they can truly unfold. Our work is based on personal attention, individual thinking and long-term professional relationships – supporting a career not merely to become successful, but to develop and reach its fullest potential.
The different stages of my career have ultimately brought me back to the same question: how can the genius within an artist be seen, heard and recognised so that they become known and respected, while preserving their individuality, professional integrity, humility and joy of creation – and at the same time keeping pace with intense competition and external expectations without losing themselves?

Artistic identity
Understand. Represent. Enable growth.
For me, classical music is not merely a professional field but a unique intellectual and cultural environment in which values, people, stories and cultures meet. For this reason, I do not see arts management simply as a sequence of organisational tasks, performances and opportunities. Behind every artist is a distinctive story, character, sensitivity and inner world; without understanding these, genuine representation is impossible. One of the most important parts of my work is to recognise, understand and authentically represent this personal and artistic identity, and to find the path on which talent can develop and flourish over the long term.
A human-centred approach
Balance and inner strength.
The same holistic, human-centred approach guides me in education and wellbeing. I believe that an artistic career and the person living it are inseparable: behind every artistic achievement stands the whole human being. Alongside the pursuit of professional excellence, I consider physical and emotional balance, the preservation of inner resources, awareness and a healthy relationship with oneself equally important.
One’s own voice
The freedom to fulfil one’s potential.
I am convinced that talent and professional knowledge alone are not enough for true artistic fulfilment. It also takes courage, curiosity, self-awareness, inner stability and the freedom to preserve one’s own voice. For me, supporting this complex human and artistic journey is the true meaning of my vocation.
